PixelHero was founded in late 2006 by Ron Scott, now our lead UI designer.
Though still young as a studio, Pixelhero has a great skillset and a vision of the greater internet.
XHTML. The building block of a design.
Though many mainstream web designers consider XHTML the only option for web page creation, we believe in keeping an open mind, and making sure that our websites are as user-friendly on one browser as they are on another. As a result, we are open to using HTML 4.01 when the need arises.
CSS. The styling for a masterpiece.
CSS is an increasingly major component to any mainstream website's design these days. Print specialists know that CSS is a simple yet powerful way to create the perfect style for a website. We consider CSS to be the number one priority when planning and implementing a project.
CMS. Website platform.
Content Management Systems are important to use for large websites that update frequently, and small websites that should update quickly and easily. For a stellar blogging platform and small CMS, we often use Wordpress. If a large or complex website is in order, MODx is our solution. It has speed, functionality, and precision to handle all of our needs.
Accessibility. Easiness counts.
Accessibility is as high a priority a content and design. We believe that with each new level of creativity comes new standards of user-friendly interfaces and accessible features. Organizations like W3C try to spell out how web designers like us should code our web pages, and unspoken standards are set. While we may not design to specific standards laid out by "authoritative" organizations, our guidelines allow for only the best quality design, management, and accessibility.
Hand in Hand
By working and interacting closely with our clients, we are able to maximize profit and productivity. While creating attractive interfaces, we strive towards giving premium quality products, and work towards a goal-oriented solution.
